Ban Hitting Kids (BHK) is an advocacy site with two goals:

1. Encourage and support California legislators to write, offer, and pass a bill that would outlaw corporal punishment in private schools and in the home.

2. Build awareness among parents, educators, therapists, healthcare professionals, and others of the uses and harms of corporal punishment in California.

Founded by a parent, BHK seeks to protect every child from violence and ensure the law reflects their human rights.

BHK works in partnership with the national non-profit, the U.S. Alliance to End the Hitting of Children.
